Nevertheless, there are many ups and downs in life.

There are times when everything seems to be falling apart, but happiness means finding that spark even when we are blue.
“The greatest happiness you can have is knowing that you do not necessarily require happiness.”
~ William Saroyan
Knowing that happiness is within the grasp of choice is the key to live a happy life.
1. Smile Please
A smile is a delightful thing as it can brighten up anyone’s mood in a blink.

There will always be some people that would so love to take the dignity of choice away from you.

Real friends will always appreciate it straight upcoming. However, if you lay down for toxic people to walk on you, they will still complain that you are not flat enough.
A people-pleasing person never lives a positively happy life as his happiness relies on other’s wants and needs.
This way, he will spend more time on the needs and wants of other people and often prioritize them over himself, thus leaving not enough time for himself.
Without any doubt, this will result in the opposite of positivity in life.
No is a complete sentence. You do not have to explain where an explanation is not necessary.
There is nothing to feel guilty about saying no, once you recognize the feelings and state the matter with respect. You will quickly be conscious of the “power of no“.
To have positivity in life is a choice, and anything that does not ignite spirit deserves a no.
To have positivity in life is to spend time doing what you want to do instead of what other people want or expect you to do.
4. Get Healthy Sleep
Sleep is necessary for the body to recover itself. During the REM sleep, the body repairs itself and build up the strength needed for the day ahead.
Poor sleeping patterns can lead to “insomnia” and “depression“.

Not getting enough sleep impacts negatively on overall health.
Studies show that 6-8 hours of sleep is required for the body, and it also improves the immune system.
You are prone to more than just anxiety and stress if you are not getting healthier sleep.
“Sleep is the best meditation.”
~ Dalai Lama
To live a happy, positive life, try to avoid sleeping in noisy environments and buy a mattress that your body is comfortable in.
Do not let anything get in the way of a good night’s sleep.

It is unbelievable how things turn around when you remove toxic people from life.
Try to spend more time with people who share values and appreciate your opinions instead of those who want to see your downfall.

Be truthful and open-hearted and let them know you are ready to move on. It is their problem to deal with and just like you, and they are in control of their happiness too.
If you don’t eliminate toxic people from your life cycle, gradually they will intoxicate your life. You will not be able to live a positively happy life.
Find acquaintances or friends that would help you get rid of toxic people and aid in your personal development.
The precious time you waste on toxic people is far better to be spent on solitude and self-growth.
